Thu 24th April  --  Willow Park / Newton Lake, NLW  -- Treecreeper, 2 Bullfinch, 12 Tufted Ducks, 2 Canada geese, 2 Teal.

                              Carr Mill Dam  --  2 Common Tern, 8 Sand Martins. 

                              Sankey Valley, NLW  --  2 Common Whitethroats.

Tues 22nd April  -- Penkford Bridge, Sankey Valley, NLW  --  male Blackcap, 2 Chiffchaff, 2 Common Buzzards high up.

                                Penkford Flash, Sankey Valley, NLW  --  2 Teal.    

Mon 21st April  --  Sankey Valley, NLW  --  Sand Martin.

Sun 20th April   --  My Garden, Haydock  -- Sparrowhawk thru.

Sat 19th April   --  Wagon Lane, Sankey Valley  -- Yellowhammer,  Jay.

Fri 18th April    --  My Garden, Haydock  -- Sparrowhawk perched on edge of bird bath for 4 minutes,  Coal Tit.

Thu 17th April  --  Carr Mill Dam  --  3 Common Tern, 2 Swallows, 20+ Sand Martins.

Wed 16th April   -- Catchdale Moss Lane area --1 Common Buzzard, 2 Oystercatchers, Tree Sparrow, 3 Swallows, 15 Red-legged Partridges.

                                Mossborough Hall Lane  -- 2 Oystercatchers, 1 House Martin, 3 Linnets, Tree Sparrows, 10 Red-legged Partridges.

                                Blindfoot Road  --  2 Oystercatchers,   Eccleston Mere -- 3 Swallows.

                                Carr Mill Dam  --  4 Common Tern, 8 Swallows, 80+ Sand Martins.

Sun 6th April   -- Howard's Lane  --  4 Wheatears, 7 Golden Plover, Tree Sparrows, lots Lapwing, lots Red-legged Partridges.

                            Catchdale Moss Lane  -- 16 Fieldfare, 1 Yellowhammer, Skylark, 1 Oystercatcher, 1 Common Buzzard.

                            Blindfoot Road   -- 2 Oystercatchers,  Eccleston Mere --  35+ Sand Martins, 7 Swallows.

Sat 5th April   --  Howard's Farm, Howard's Lane, Eccleston  --  Cattle Egret also 2 Swallows nearby, see  Andy Spottiswood Blog .

Fri 4th April   --  Sankey Valley, NLW  --  Common Buzzard.

                            Prescot Reservoirs  --  Sandwich Tern very briefly early am, then flew north-west over the Safari Park.

                            Blindfoot Road / Mossborough Hall Lane  --  Swallow.  

                            Coach Road, Walkden House Farm  --  27 Curlews,  Moss Farm  -- 1 Willow Tit.

Thu 3rd April --  Carr Mill Dam -- 1 Swallow, 22 Great-crested Grebes, 1 Common Buzzard on field haressed by 3 Lapwings,

                                                         1 Canada Goose, 1 Tufted duck, 2 Grey Herons.
