Join the Rangers on an early morning bird walk, looking and listening for up to 45 species of birds.

Please bring along binoculars if you have them. We request that all dogs are left at home for this event.

This relaxed 7 mile ramble will pass through the northern end of Sankey Valley Park and 

then travel the footpaths and lanes of Carr Mill and Garswood.

Please bring along waterproofs in case of inclement weather, and plenty of liquids to drink. 

You should also wear stout footwear suitable for walking long distances.

An event aimed at the 'very' amateur photographer, mainly concentrating on digital photography.

Members of the Ranger Service will lead the event, and will be on hand to identify any 

animals or plants that are photographed. This event is strictly limited to 10 people,

 and will also ascend to the highest point in Merseyside, Billinge Hill.

Join in the hunt for a large variety of pond creatures with the Rangers and our guest Chantelle Edwards 

from 'Nature in Focus'.  Chantelle will examine the 'mini beasts' under a microscope which will 

display them in gruesome close-up on a television monitor.
