New Event BRICKFIELDS FAMILY EVENT
Meet in ‘Laurel Hall’ at the Chester Lane Community Centre,
Four Acre Lane, St Helens, WA9 4DE
Sunday 15th March - 12.00pm to 3.30pm
GUIDED BIRD WALK
Come on a guided walk through the Brickfields site to discover the wonders of its wildlife.
BIRD BOX MAKING
After the bird walk, join us at the Chester Lane Community Centre to make a bird box for your garden.
All materials and instructions you need will be provided by BTCV.
The event is suitable for all ages. Children under 14 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Please wear warm, waterproof outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear.
Hot drinks and snacks will be available at the Community Centre.

and enjoy the first flush of the areas spring flowers.

Nanny Goat Park (Recreation Street)

A display of birds of prey including the Harris Hawk, Vulture and a variety of Owls,
complemented by several flying demonstrations. Experienced handlers will be available
to pass on their expert knowledge regarding the numerous species particular traits.

A hands on experience for the uninitiated in to the skills involved in willow weaving,
participants will be taught how to make numerous simple forms of art work such as a Fish or Dream Catcher.

This 6 mile circular walk through the scenic St Helens countryside to Pex Hill Country Park,
Starting and finishing at The Manor Farm Public House situated in the Rainhill area.
Please bring along waterproofs in case of inclement weather.
You should also wear stout footwear suitable for walking long distances.
