NOTE  --  The dead female Mute Swan recovered from Carr Mill Dam on 29th March was not shot as rumoured,
 but was found to have died from an infection, apparently an egg it was about to lay had gone bad and got stuck.
Update  --  The Common Scoter taken into care from Carr Mill Dam has recently died, it was soon to be released.
