bird news of interest to me Peter --  birdwatchinginsthelens@blueyonder.co.uk  Please could you also forward all your

 bird sightings to Colin Davies at the St Helens Wildlife Recording Group, email --  coldavies2@hotmail.co.uk 

 who will co-ordinate and summarise all the bird records from St Helens and then forward them to the local county recorder.

 Fri 19th Dec  - Colliers Moss  --  2 Buzzard,  1 Sparrowhawk,  Redwing and Fieldfare present also Siskin & Goldcrest heard.
 - Colliers Moss towards Burtonwood Moss  --  5 Woodcock also another 2 flew out near to Sutton Moss. St Helens Blog 
 - Newton Lake, NLW  --  28 Teal,  5 Tufted Duck,  1 male Gadwall. 
 - Vista Road, Haydock  --  1 Sparrowhawk flew over top end of Vista Road.
 Tue 16th Dec  - Wagon Lane, Haydock, Sankey Valley  --  3 Jay,  2 Willow Tit,  2 male/1 female Bullfinch,  8 Reed Bunting. 
 - My Garden, off Wagon Lane, Haydock  --  1 Coal Tit on the feeders.
 Sat 14th Dec  - My Garden, off Wagon Lane, Haydock  --  1 Coal Tit on the feeders.
 Sun 7th Dec  - My Garden, off Wagon Lane, Haydock  --  1 Coal Tit on the feeders this morning. 
 Thu 4th Dec  - Newton Lake, NLW  --  2 Little Grebe,  52 Teal,  5 Tufted Duck,  1 Grey Wagtail  also 1 Goldcrest at top of steps.
 - My Garden, off Wagon Lane, Haydock  --  1 Sparrowhawk sat on fence this morning.
